I think I have seen nearly all of the vets at Godiva Vets and everyone has been really lovely with Winston and when we arrive at the door he can’t wait to go in so that says a lot he does enjoy going .

We tend to see Connor Day as he treated Winston when 3 months old..he's now 10. A brilliant gentle vet and takes the time to listen and fully explain the treatment.

We had a vet consultation for our dog, Monty, today with Conor Day who was wonderful, for example, calm and compassionate and clearly cares deeply about our pets. Godiva Veterinary Clinic has a calm, inviting atmosphere on entry, immediately creating an environment conducive to the health and wellbeing of our cat, Ollie, and us. Abbey, the vet, had such a lovely manner and Ollie seemed quite happy to be examined by her. I particularly liked that Abbey took into consideration my health background when choosing how to communicate with us. We really felt included and valued. In terms of the assessment, Abbey was clearly very skilled, and she communicated verbally, non-verbally and in writing highly effectively, including, following the appointment, Abbey sent us a detailed estimate for dental procedures which was very clear and concise. In terms of interventions, I am extremely satisfied with the choices given and the outcome. Ollie seems to have improved slightly already, although Abbey did make us aware that the treatment takes a few weeks to really kick in and took this into consideration with Ollie's short-term pain management plan. In sum, I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you :) *Update following second visit* A wholly positive response, in line with my original one. Extremely satisfied. On this occasion, Ollie was seen by Abbey again, who has been consistently excellent all round (see previous review). It was a different team on reception, but they were equally as welcoming and attentive as previous staff and quickly and efficiently completed processes. Ollie continues to amaze us with his progress since being on Solensia for osteoarthritis, for example he jumped from the couch to the bookcase yesterday chasing a laser beam, which we haven't seen him do for at least a couple of years. *Update following third visit* This time, Ollie's visit was with Sharon, a fantastic veterinary nurse with excellent clinical and communication skills, for example a holistic approach to Ollie's assessment with an evidence-informed, patient-centred and collaborative approach, including, on weighing Ollie, I expressed concern that he had lost weight. Sharon sourced different scales and documented which ones Ollie should be weighed with on subsequent visits. Furthermore, she showed empathy and compassion, which immediately put us at ease. *Update following fourth visit* Ollie saw vet nurse Beth today. Beth was very gentle with Ollie whilst examining him, and met his comfort needs very well i.e.she sourced a thick blanket for him to sit on during the interventions. She involved us throughout. I never worry about Ollie being unnecessarily stressed when we go to Godiva thanks to the positive effect of the staff and environment. Thank you again. *Update following another visit* I am still very happy with Godiva Vets. Thank you. *Update following fifth visit. Another wholly positive response thanks to the staff and the environment. This time we saw vet nurse, Holiie, who was fantastic, for example she handled Ollie in such a manner that he was very easy to examine and relaxed. Also, she was very thorough from start to finish, and even booked our next appt. as part of the consultation process. Really impressed :) *Update* Ollie has had a dental procedure this week, and, again, I can't thank the team enough- from reception staff through to clinical. You are such a lovely, dedicated, empathetic team. For dental investigation and diagnosis, this practice is desirable as it has dental x-ray equipment thus our cat, Ollie, was checked for issues which cannot be identified otherwise. In terms of process, it was very thorough, for example, pre-assessment in arrival by one of the vet nurses, Kerri; very reassuring phone call mid-afternoon; post-surgery consultation with vet (Kamil, I think...); next day phone call from vet nurse, Becky. I can't thank you all enough :) *Update* Our dog recently saw Connor Carson who performed a thorough examination quickly and expertly and his candour was reassuring.

I have been a customer at this veterinary service for many many years. Different pets of course and sadly have lost some through old age but the staff here are absolutely fantastic and always remember you even when you haven't visited for a couple of years I cannot thank Connor Day and his colleagues enough for theit expertise and skills, and for the way all pets are treated with such Tenderness and care and love. I have recommended this veterinary surgery to many friends who all Echo my comments. Reception staff always pleasant and helpful. They have their own car park but should there be the odd occasion when this is full, there is plenty of alternative parking. Separate seating areas for cats and dogs. 100% recommend
