Medivet killed my cat. My cat was 4 years old and had diabetes, the vet took him in overnight and treated him for “anti freeze” poisoning which is next to impossible as he was an indoor cat and had no exposure to anything of the sort, the vet said and I quote, “ahh it’s seasonal happens to cats all the time” told me his blood sugar glucose levels are high in his blood and urine which is a clear indication of diabetes. They had him overnight at the leamington branch rang me overnight to say he’s not reacting to the anti poison medication which I told them he’s diabetic and they told me they were not made aware by the local branch vet that he was. Called me in the morning to say he’d passed away under their care and supervision for 24/7, apparently not. I was so angry and upset as he was lively and full of energy. And they didn’t detect the problem, I will never use medivet again for that reason and that’s enough. How am I supposed to be reassured my animal is in safe hands when they can’t even detect the actual issue at hand even with numerous bloods taken etc. So disappointed as I’ve been with medivet for years and have never had an issue. I won’t forgive them for this…

Lenny is always handled with absolute care by the staff at Medivet. He isn't keen on his six monthly checkups but he gets a full going over and it's peace of mind for me

Friendly staff and my appointment was on time. Plenty of parking and wheelchair friendly, although the main door is quite heavy. After the appointment, the vet nurse helped me take my two cats to the car.

I was recommended to Medivet Coventry after stressful vet visits during lockdown. My dog is extremely anxious and the staff did their best to help him cope.
