Rachel was amazing with are dog paddy, she was very professional but also compassionate. Having a vet come to the house made life so much easier and less stressful.
Rachel treated paddy for his allergies with such care and respect- she also took the time to explain and make sure we understood everything.

They say you get what you pay for.
I phoned around a few different home vets and then come across Rachel's site, read the reviews on her page and seen the price for a cat euthanasia, then seen she was based in Coventry and thought i might aswel give her a try, as im in Birmingham, 30 mins away. When I spoke to her on the phone I felt there was very little sympathy from her compared to several other vets id talked to.
But the price of £90 as stated on her website was too good. After a few questions about my 19 yr old cat Fudge, she said she could come to my home but the charge would be £135, still a decent price but not what is stated on her website. I agreed on a date and time.
She came on time thats about as good as it gets. Before her bag hit the sofa she whipped out her card machine and wanted payment there and then. This was our 1st time ever having a pet and to have Fudge for 19yrs we as a family were devastated to be having to have her put down. Rachel was very abrupt, very cold and showed no compassion towards us and Fudge. No sympathy as we were in tears when we seen our poor Fudge collapse to the floor after she quickly put the 1st syringe in. My daughter who grew up with Fudge also 19yrs old was sitting on the floor stroking her and wanted to have her in her lap. But no option was given Rachel sat down next to Fudge a quickly put the 1st syringe in. Fudge went to sleep within 2 seconds. We all was in shock everyone crying. She put the 2nd syringe in about 30 seconds later and checked her heartbeat and said she was gone, because she was weak with her illnesses. Put it this way Rachel was in and out within 10 minutes. No compassion, no sympathy not comforting at all and seemed to be in a rush. As my family were devastated about what we just had to go through i never said anything to Rachel I just waved her good bye and thought I wish id paid the extra and used a different vet.
Reached out to Rachel unexpectedly for an at home euthanasia, despite being time sensitive Rachel worked with us for a date that suited us. Rachel communicated very well and was able to be empathetic but also remove the emotion, this is a skill. On the day Rachel explained everything (this was also done prior to prepare us) that would happen and allowed us to be completely present as well as say goodbyes unrushed and with sensitivity. We were happy that we were able to do this in the comfort of our boys home. Cremation information was given and a beautiful paw impression was done, all presented in a bag with a certificate and card from Rachel. Thank you for your assistance and ensuring our boy went with grace ♥️
From a price point Rachel was by far the best price that I came across.
I was recommended Rachel services so it made me feel better that I was using someone who had a bit of caring & compasion, unfortunately my little dog Honey had already died & I required the services of cremation I delivered my fur baby to Rachel’s house & was told it would take a week to receive her ash’s. We were so distraught & lost without our girl so we decided to go away for a few days I contacted Rachel & gave her our friends number so Honey could be collected. When we arrived home our girl was waiting for us & my heart ached to think we would never see her again, on closer inspection I looked at her cremation certificate & her name was spelt wrong & also on the sympathy card that was sent bad enough losing your fur baby but I felt this was not very professional. I contacted Rachel & she said it was probably predictive txt that changed it she’s running a business & that is surely part of the service to make sure you have the right information I requested a new certificate she said she would chase it up 4 days later I hadn’t heard from her so messaged her to ask if she had got the new certificate the reply I got was it’s in the post………
This is not the response I expected she is supposed to be professional & running a business bad enough the heart ache your feeling after losing a pet I expected a better service than this.
We made the decision to put our beloved staffie to sleep couple weeks ago and Rachel was honestly amazing she talked through everything and her service was exceptional from start to finish I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough.
Rachel has been coming to vaccinate and check on our cats and rabbits for quite a few years now. She's great with them all and has always been kind, non-judgemental, professional and helpful, answering all questions and giving advice or signposting to different places. She's also great with all animals, definitely in the right job!
What can I say ,she was absolutely amazing with my boy it was his final journey and he was treated with respect,kindness and most of all care .we were given plenty of time to say our goodbyes.when we picked his ashes up it came with a beautiful card and a small teddy candle which I thought was beautiful.i will never use another vet again home vet every time.5 stars all the way
On Friday I had to make the hardest decision of my life to let my beloved dog Tyler pass away peacefully. This wonderful lady made his peaceful and graceful end possible. I really can’t thank you enough for making this experience so calm and comfortable for him, he had a lovely end to a happy little life (15 years and 7 months)
Rachel came to our flat today to put our gorgeous boy cat Sylvester to sleep for us after a 14 month battle with cancer.....her caring compassionate way was amazing highly recommend
